There has always been a desire deep down in my soul to know more about people. Their unknown stories have always intrigued me and I am always curious to hear more if they give me the time of day. I suppose that is the reason I have certain ease when photographing people. It is definitely one of my strongest attributes and it is the area of photography most influenced so far by some of my heroes, whether it is in the social documentary realm, studio or conceptual. Some of them include Robert Frank, Richard Avedon, Robert Adams, Walker Evans, August Sanders, and Ralph Eugene Meatyard.
